Sereny
International Champion, Hungarian Champion and Hungarian Jr. Champion Zoldmali Sereny arrived in Australia and came home to us, after spending his quarantine month in prison, on 7 January 2011.
We cannot begin to express how delighted we are with this boy. He really is something special!
Below is what Zsifi Miczek has to say about Sereny..
“Zoldmali Sereny has three generations of the best working HWVs in Hungary in his lines. His mother is Zoldmali Irisz, grandmother is Zöldmáli Alma, great granddmother is Csövárberki Dévaj - the 3 top working HWVs ever in Hungary. He has been an outstanding dog, not only in conformation, but in working abilities also. He has been worked throughout the 2008 hunting season from a young age of 7 months, and he amazed the hunters with his working attitude, speed and desire to work.
He is the type of dog that you just have to explain what you want, and he will do it for you. All he wants to do is please you and make you happy. He is easy to handle and easy to train and he is a very friendly character towards people and other dogs . He is a calm dog, but when it comes to work, he works at full speed with lots of spirit and joy.
He is very valuable for future breeding stock in the breed, not only for his wonderful conformation hunting abilities, but also because of his real Vizsla temperament and character”.
When Zsofi told us how wonderful he was she was not exaggerating! We just love him so much!
Exciting news! In May Sereny recently won “Best In Show” at a Show Championship Show in Biggenden, Qld.
He is the first Wirehaired Vizsla in Australia to Take win “Best In The Gun Dog Group” and to go on to win the Show.
We are very proud of our new boy! Well done Sereny!!
Since then Sereny has won Best Open Dog in the Gun Dog Group at his next two shows.
